Over the years I have tried many things that have been deemed travel “must-haves” and some I totally agree with while others I could live without. I decided to compile my own list of must-haves that can easily be purchased from Amazon. This list contains products that I have found to make travel easier, more comfortable, and/or more organized, which in turn makes it more relaxing and stress-free. Note, this is not every single item I think you need to travel, It’s just a few items that I think take away some of the hassles of travel! I am sure I will continue to find items as well as I continue to travel more and will periodically add to this list!
First Let’s Get Organized
One thing that can truly take away a lot of the anxiety of traveling is knowing you have all of your essential documents in a safe and easily accessible place.
This organizer holds so much and keeps all your documents together and secure, it even has RFID protection.
If you don’t need something this large, there are thousands of options for single passport holders that also hold a few cards and cash. I have this one very similar to this one and it works well when I am alone but I prefer the larger one when I need to carry both mine and Lil’s passports.
I have seen so many portable chargers going viral right now, but I have had this one since 2018 and it is my favorite! It’s so thin and easy to store and hold while it’s in use. You also do not need an extra cord to plug it into your phone which I think is the best part.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this backpack…It is a PERFECT size for your personal item on a flight and has so many pockets to keep things organized. I use the large one for my personal item and it is still the perfect size even though it holds so much.
This next item is one I have not purchased myself yet but it has been on my Amazon wishlist for quite some time based on the great reviews and what seem to be really great features.
I used these packing cubes when Lilli and I went on our Disney Cruise, a 6-day cruise and 2 days in Florida, and we fit everything (including 2 princess dresses and a poofy pirate dress) in a carry-on-sized suitcase! I also used the backpack above as my personal item! These packing cubes made that a possibility. The only thing I would say is to use them as instructed, do not overfill them or it will defeat the purpose.

Those regular travel neck pillows just are not comfortable on a plane… If you can sleep using those things kudos to you but I have never been able to. I always take it off and end up using it like a regular pillow. This, on the other hand, is actually so comfy!
